Embedded Software Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Embedded Software Engineers for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Proficient in real-time embedded C++ programming
• Hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) Experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client is seeking qualified software engineers to perform requirements analysis, design, develop, implement, test, integrate, and maintain embedded real-time C++ software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) for missile programs to work on-site full-time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Ada experience
• Linux operating systems experience
• Jira, Confluence, Gitlab experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

WORK HOURS:
• 4/10-1st Shift
