PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Assembler in Everett, WA.

What You'll Do

As an Assembler, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and written work instructions.

• Perform a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations.

• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and other light equipment.

• Perform quality checks and identify and document product defects.

• Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

• Maintain appropriate product inventory at assigned workstations.

• Complete work in accordance with established quality and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Lift materials and products weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Work primarily in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day, with occasional opportunities to sit.

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring:

• High school diploma or GED plus relevant assembly experience. In lieu of a diploma or GED, at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.

• At least 3 years of hands-on testing and assembly experience.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Ability to safely use hand tools, electrical tools, measuring equipment, and related assembly equipment.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who stand out may also bring:

• Previous aviation or aerospace manufacturing experience.

• Experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly.

• Hands-on experience conducting production testing and inspections.

• Experience identifying defects and performing rework or repairs.

• Strong familiarity with engineering drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials.

• A demonstrated commitment to quality, workplace safety, and attention to detail.
