PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented FAA Painter to prepare and apply high-quality coatings and finishes to aircraft-related components. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with industrial, automotive, aerospace, or production painting experience who take pride in quality workmanship and safety.

What You'll Do

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, masking, sanding, and related methods.
  
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray equipment.
  
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and work instructions.
  
• Inspect finished surfaces for coverage, consistency, and quality.
  
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
  
• Maintain painting equipment and a clean, safe work area.
  
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  
• Follow FAA, environmental, quality, and safety procedures.
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
• Knowledge of spray-painting, surface preparation, and coating techniques.
  
• Ability to follow technical specifications and work instructions.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in industrial, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, or related painting.
  
• Vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training in painting or coatings.
  
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
  
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
  
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing.
  
• Comfortable working around paint fumes, chemicals, machinery, and production equipment.
