Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Performs quality engineering or manufacturing engineering in a machine-shop or precision-manufacturing environment.
Utilizes precision measurement equipment including CMM, laser trackers, surface plates, and optical comparators.
Applies statistical process control (SPC) for quality monitoring and improvement.
Interprets engineering drawings and applies GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
Implements and maintains quality management systems including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
Conducts audit processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Applies knowledge of advanced machining processes including CNC milling, turning, and EDM.
Collaborates cross-functionally to resolve quality and manufacturing issues.
Ensures adherence to tight production schedules through effective task prioritization.
Performs hands-on quality engineering tasks in precision manufacturing.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a machine-shop or precision-manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with precision measurement equipment including CMM, laser trackers, surface plates, and optical comparators.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
Familiarity with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of quality management systems including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
Experience with audit processes for quality management systems.
Preferred: Experience with advanced machining processes including CNC milling, turning, and EDM.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight production schedules.
