Job Type: Contract (11 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary:

Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured and procured products.

Designs and analyzes inspection and test processes, mechanisms, and equipment.

Evaluates product test results and performs statistical analysis to assess risk on non-conforming products or materials.

Reviews documentation for internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.

Leads or participates on Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations.

Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards.

Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.

Ensures effective corrective and preventive action to improve processes.

Performs special process assessments and audits procedures for compliance to technical specifications and ISO-9001 or AS9100 standards.

Interfaces with customers and program personnel on quality issues and makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline with 2 or more years of professional experience, or 0 years of experience with Master's degree, or equivalent combined experience and education.

At least 2 years of GD&T experience.

At least 2 years of SAP experience.

At least 2 years of APRISO experience.

At least 2 years of Root Cause Analysis experience (Cause Mapping, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.).

At least 2 years of Presentation experience.

At least 2 years of conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102.

Desired: Manufacturing Environment Experience.

Desired: Green or Black Belt Certification, AS9102 interpretation and application experience, and Optics experience.
