1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | $23.00/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to find skilled and motivated Assemblers to join a fast-paced production team in Bohemia, NY.

As an Assembler, you’ll play an important role in producing high-quality components for the aviation industry, supporting programs. Your attention to detail, mechanical skills, and commitment to quality will help ensure every assembly meets demanding production and quality standards.

What You'll Do

As an Assembler, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Perform mechanical assembly of raw materials and components.
  
• Use a variety of hand tools and small tools, including torque wrenches.
  
• Follow production instructions, drawings, and established assembly procedures.
  
• Perform quality-control inspections to verify workmanship and specifications.
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.
  
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  
• Support production goals while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  
• Work overtime as needed to support business and production requirements.
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
  
• 1–3 years of prior assembly experience.
  
• Experience using small hand tools; familiarity with a torque wrench is important.
  
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  
• Ability and willingness to stand for the entire 8-hour shift.
  
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when required.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  
• Previous manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or production experience.
  
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
