Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 9x80 Schedule

Pay Rate: $81.02 per hour

Work Arrangement: Onsite

As a Configuration Analyst, you’ll support the Configuration Management organization by helping ensure engineering and manufacturing data remains accurate, controlled, and aligned with customer and program requirements.

You’ll work across engineering, quality, manufacturing, support, and data-control teams to coordinate product changes, documentation, revisions, and configuration records. Your attention to detail will help keep complex aerospace programs moving efficiently and accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, including engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications.
  
• Review contracts and project requirements to determine the documentation needed throughout each phase of a program.
  
• Analyze proposed product-design changes and evaluate their potential impact on overall products and systems.
  
• Coordinate modification records to maintain effective management and configuration control.
  
• Establish change orders and prepare documentation for required change authorization.
  
• Review and analyze released engineering change data.
  
• Coordinate engineering changes with engineering, quality, manufacturing, support, and engineering data-control teams.
  
• Maintain accurate configuration data and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  
• Work with part numbers, bills of material (BOMs), revisions, routings, and other configuration-controlled data.
  
• Use ERP, PLM, MES, and standard office tools to track, manage, and report configuration information.
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, work instructions, and related documentation.
  
• Follow established procedures while identifying and addressing configuration discrepancies.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Basic understanding of ERP, PLM, and MES systems and how they support configuration management and manufacturing.
  
• Familiarity with configuration data, including part numbers, BOMs, routings, and change-control concepts.
  
• Proficiency with standard office tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as SAP or another ERP platform.
  
• Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM platform.
  
• Experience with MES or similar manufacturing/shop-floor systems.
  
• Exposure to configuration management, product lifecycle management, or manufacturing operations.
  
• Experience in an aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment.
  
• Experience working with BOMs, part structures, engineering change notices (ECNs), or engineering change requests (ECRs).
  
• Basic understanding of configuration management practices, including change control, baselines, and revisions.
