Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineer for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports development, design, integration and test function of Instrumentation, Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics , cable routing, harness fabrication and soldering. Experience working with crimpers, multimeters and wire stripping tools is required. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, availability, safety and cost.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience working on flight aircraft preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor's Degree with 4-8 years of experience or accredited Master's Degree with 2-6 years of experience.
WORK HOURS: 5/40-1st Shift/Full-Time.
