Position Details




  • Location: Everett, WA
  • Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (3-Month Contract)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $25.51 per hour
  • Work Environment: Fully On-Site
  • Overtime: Occasional voluntary overtime opportunities on Saturdays

As an Inspector, you'll be a vital part of the quality team, ensuring that products meet rigorous manufacturing and customer standards. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality aviation components while helping maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.



By identifying issues early, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions, you'll help drive a culture of quality throughout the production process.





What You'll Do




  • Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections on components and assemblies.
  • Conduct quality control activities supporting both existing and new product introductions.
  • Inspect incoming materials, returned products, and completed assemblies to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and ensure products meet engineering and quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Document non-conformances and escalate significant quality concerns to leadership.
  • Support corrective action processes using quality methodologies such as 8D reporting and 5 Whys.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Follow all company safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment.




Required Qualifications




  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • In lieu of a diploma, 4+ years of relevant inspection experience may be considered.


  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience performing mechanical and visual inspections.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, including:

    • 8D reporting
    • 5 Whys analysis
    • Corrective action reporting


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a required vision test.


Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
  • Background supporting quality activities for new product introductions.
  • Experience identifying nonconformances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.

Pay Details: $25.51 per hour
