Pay Rate: $57.00 - $59.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift Requirements: Must be able to work any assigned shift, including overtime, weekends, and extended work schedules as needed.
As an Assembly Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in assembling, installing, inspecting, and testing structural aircraft components that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Your expertise will support the production process from component assembly through final integration, helping ensure aircraft are delivered on schedule and built to specification.

In this role, you will:
Assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect aircraft structural and system components
Work from engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and process documentation
Perform functional testing to ensure proper fit, form, and function of assemblies and components
Utilize precision measuring instruments and shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately
Assemble components into subassemblies and final assemblies using specialized tooling
Verify completed work meets engineering and quality specifications
Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies and non-conformances in accordance with established procedures
Perform rework and corrective actions on aircraft components as required
Ensure tooling and equipment certifications remain compliant
Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Support product flow throughout the manufacturing process
Train and assist fellow team members in assembly, installation, and inspection techniques
Cross-train in inspection activities and pursue SIA qualification
Operate conventional and CNC fastening equipment
Support specialty processes including:
Assembly and installation of aircraft structures
Structural sealing operations
Subassembly fabrication
Aircraft door installation
Integral fuel cell sealing
Precision bench assembly
Pressure and vacuum testing
Extensive aircraft assembly or aerospace manufacturing experience
Experience working Tags and Shear Webs (M01B Mechanic background preferred)
Experience addressing non-conformances, corrective actions, and rework activities
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications
Experience using precision measuring and testing equipment
Strong understanding of aircraft structures and assembly processes
Must supply and maintain your own toolbox and tools
Ability to stand and work for the entire shift
Ability to work extended schedules, including:
10-12 hour shifts
Overtime
Weekend work
Potentially 7 days per week when required
Ability to pass required mechanical plate testing
Previous experience in commercial or military aerospace manufacturing
Experience with structural assembly and aircraft integration programs
Background operating CNC fastening equipment
Inspection experience or SIA qualification
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Experience mentoring or training other mechanics
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume production environment
