Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9X80 Schedule

Pay Rate: $32.25 per hour

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies according to established procedures
  
• Follow manufacturing processes and work instructions with accuracy and consistency
  
• Read and interpret technical documentation, including:
  
  
  
  • Engineering drawings
    
  • Specifications
    
  • Technical diagrams
    
  • Manufacturer manuals
    
  • Production prints
    
  
  
  
• Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to support manufacturing activities
  
• Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure product quality and compliance
  
• Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies
  
• Identify and communicate nonconformances to management and quality teams
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  
• Support additional manufacturing activities and projects as assigned
  
• Work overtime and weekends when required to meet business needs
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Two (2) years of additional education and/or related manufacturing, production, assembly, or technical experience
  
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings
  
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurement functions
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to report quality concerns or nonconformances
  
• Commitment to following safety protocols and production standards
  
• Ability to work onsite in Hanover, MD
  
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
  
   
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating precision measuring instruments and hand tools
  
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, defense, or technical production environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  
• Experience working in environments requiring strict adherence to procedures and specifications
