As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in the design, development, integration, and verification of sophisticated spacecraft systems supporting commercial, civil, and national security missions. Working alongside top engineering talent, you'll help ensure complex satellite programs meet performance objectives, technical requirements, and customer expectations throughout the entire system lifecycle.

What You'll Do
As a key member of the engineering team, you will:
Collaborate across spacecraft subsystems to plan, design, develop, integrate, and verify complex space systems throughout the program lifecycle
Evaluate customer and operational requirements to define system performance criteria and technical parameters
Ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces
Perform systems analyses to optimize system architectures and overall mission performance
Identify and resolve gaps in scope and coordinate work across teams
Support the identification and resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues
Participate in or lead technical, schedule, and cost trade studies
Support engineering governance activities, including Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) Boards and Engineering Review Boards (ERB)
Ensure contractual compliance by integrating Statements of Work (SOW) and technical requirements into engineering processes
Develop and maintain systems engineering infrastructure using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS and Cameo
Allocate, derive, and trace performance and functional requirements throughout the system hierarchy
Forecast, track, and report requirements verification and compliance activities
Support engineering change proposal evaluations and technical responses
Participate in major systems engineering reviews, including:
System Requirements Reviews (SRR)
Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR)
Critical Design Reviews (CDR)
Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
Represent Systems Engineering during reviews conducted by manufacturing, integration, testing, and other integrated product teams
Support Assembly, Integration & Testing (AI&T), launch activities, mission operations, and non-conformance resolution as program needs evolve
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in:
Engineering
Engineering Technology
Computer Science
Data Science
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Or a related technical field
Experience with systems engineering fundamentals and product lifecycle development
Knowledge of systems engineering reviews and milestones, including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively on complex technical programs in a collaborative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in satellite system design, development, integration, testing, or operations
Experience supporting commercial, government, defense, or space programs
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS and Cameo
Experience collaborating with customers, program offices, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Knowledge of spacecraft architecture, requirements management, and systems integration
Leadership experience guiding technical efforts, reviews, or engineering teams
Typically 9+ years of relevant engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and technical expertise

Pay Details: $69.46 per hour
