Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Technician 2's for a contract opportunity in Hanover, MD.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
o No clearance required to start
o Able to lift 50 lbs.
o Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
o Perform basic math and measurement functions.
o Communicate nonconformances to management and quality assurance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.
o Interpret and follow established processes and procedures.
o Read and interpret technical documentation, such as prints, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer manuals, and engineering drawings.
o Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
o Must be willing to perform work on weekends as required.
o Must be willing to work overtime as required.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Operating industrial equipment such as precision measuring instruments and hand tools.?
o Attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek. On-site. Must be willing to perform work on weekends as required. Must be willing to work overtime as required.
