Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Point Mugu, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): o BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience. o Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#. o Knowledge of object-oriented software development. o Ability to function as a member of an integrated team. o Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.). o US Citizenship required. o DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Looking for an Engineer Software 3 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you'll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Camarillo, CA office.
Responsibilities: o Develop embedded real-time system software. o Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team. o Resolve software and system defects. o Collaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites and disciplines. o Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings. o Use project dependent tools including: o Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS. o Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence. o Ada, C/C++, C#, Python. o Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): o Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. o Strong collaborative mindset. o Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program. o Experience programming with Ada language. o Experience programming with C++ language. o Experience with real-time embedded software development. o Experience working in an Agile environment. o Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS: 9/80 work week. 100% On-Site.
