PAY RATE: $37.42/hour

Summary:

    Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions for quality and manufacturing issues.

    Applies Lean and Six Sigma processes to improve manufacturing operations and quality.

    Learns and applies manufacturing processes including Assembly, Machining, Special Process, and Inspection.

    Uses computer skills for quality documentation, data analysis, and process monitoring.

    Applies knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing practices for process improvement.

    Monitors and evaluates manufacturing processes for compliance and efficiency.

    Performs technical evaluations of product quality and process documentation.

    Utilizes ASQ certification knowledge (CQE) for quality engineering.

    Applies FAA airworthiness designee experience for regulatory compliance.

    Collaborates with cross-functional teams on quality and manufacturing issues.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    An Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License combined with 4 years of related experience can be used in lieu of the degree requirement.

    ASQ certification (CQE) and experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee is highly preferred.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma processes.

    Ability to learn manufacturing processes including Assembly, Machining, Special Process, and Inspection.

    Proficient computer skills for quality and manufacturing documentation.

    Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional work.

    Preferred: Experience in the aerospace industry.
