Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (4-Month Assignment)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $100.85 per hour

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and supporting the data infrastructure that powers enterprise analytics and decision-making. Working as part of a dynamic Data & Analytics team, you'll develop scalable data pipelines, optimize data platforms, and help ensure stakeholders have access to reliable, actionable insights.

Your work will directly contribute to data-driven strategies that support a global leader in aviation and aerospace innovation.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

Design and Build Data Solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  
• Create scalable solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
  
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  

Leverage Modern Data Technologies

• Manage and optimize Snowflake data warehouse environments.
  
• Design data models, schemas, and storage strategies that support enterprise reporting needs.
  
• Utilize Matillion to integrate, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
  

Support Analytics and Reporting

• Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  
• Partner with analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and usability.
  
• Support Tableau reporting and visualization initiatives.
  

Ensure Data Quality and Reliability

• Develop and implement validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
  
• Ensure data integrity across systems and platforms.
  
• Troubleshoot data issues, performance bottlenecks, and technical challenges.
  

Collaborate Across Teams

• Work closely with engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
  
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  
• Contribute to the continued evolution of enterprise data architecture and capabilities.
  

Document and Improve

• Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and architecture.
  
• Recommend improvements to data engineering processes and platform performance.
  
• Support best practices in data governance and lifecycle management.
  

Required Qualifications

We're looking for a data professional who brings:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field and 5 years of relevant experience
  
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
  
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes

Preferred Qualifications

You'll stand out if you have:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
  
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud
  
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
  
• Familiarity with modern analytics and business intelligence ecosystems
  
• Exposure to large-scale manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or engineering environments
