Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Electronics Engineer to serve as a technical owner and hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics and electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager while working closely with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.

Required Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the full PCB design cycle, including requirements development, schematic design, component selection, layout oversight or execution, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testing.
Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems and subsystems.
Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle.
Support design updates driven by product improvements, component obsolescence, and evolving program requirements.
Conduct peer-level and cross-disciplinary design reviews.
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and fielded systems in a fast-paced environment.
Mentor junior engineers and promote sound engineering practices.
Contribute to the development of advanced aerospace, unmanned systems, and defense-related technologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated capability in complex circuit board design, bring-up, signal and power integrity analysis, and validation.
Proven experience designing electronics from concept through functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, system-level integration, and troubleshooting.
In-depth understanding of analog/mixed-signal, digital, and/or RF circuit design.
Strong working knowledge of common test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience designing electronics for robotic, aerospace, or aircraft systems.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, high-speed communications, and firmware/software integration.
UAV/UAS experience highly desirable.
Experience working in small- to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Familiarity with MIL-Spec hardware, wiring, and harnessing.


Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
