Position Summary
Seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to serve as a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.
Required Skills/Qualifications
• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated capability in circuit board design, bring-up, and validation.
• Proven experience designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal and digital circuits/components.
• Competence with common test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in the full PCB design cycle involving schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems and subsystems.
• Define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle.
• Support design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-disciplinary design reviews.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
• Experience designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systems.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware/software integration.
• UAV experience highly desirable.
• Experience working in small to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Familiarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessing.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
