Make Precision Matter in Aerospace as a Quality Technician
Location: Simpsonville, SC | Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 3:30pm | Pay Rates: $24.98/hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace and defense company to find a detail-oriented Quality Technician ready to make an impact.
As a Quality Technician, you’ll help ensure aerospace products meet strict quality, safety, and performance standards. You’ll work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to identify issues, improve processes, and support products trusted around the world.
What You’ll Do
Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality and compliance.
Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
Read blueprints and technical drawings and document inspection results.
Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Support ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Audit processes and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
What You Bring
Required:
High school diploma/GED.
2–4 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
Experience with precision measurement tools and technical drawings.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Preferred:
Associate degree or technical certification.
Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of GD&T, Lean/Six Sigma, or SAP.
