Summary:
Analyzes performance to daily schedules or orders for production operations.
Learns production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment.
Identifies quality defect trends through root cause analysis and provides recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects.
Provides recommendations on process improvements that reduce non-value added work to improve cost and flow.
Manages disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis.
Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses complex integrated shop operating plans to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency.
Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics to support a recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.
Analyzes current and future business environment using established guidelines to develop forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans.
Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition for manufacturing planning.
Contributes to development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages and monitors performance to established estimates.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
1 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
Preferred: 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles.
Preferred: Experience in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Preferred: Experience in data analysis and developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.
Preferred: Experience with capacity planning and resource utilization.
Preferred: Experience with process improvement identification through lean methodologies.
Preferred: Experience with supply chain planning and logistics.
Preferred: Experience with developing visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity.
