Quality Inspection Technician - 3rd Shift

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer known for producing critical components for jet engines, fasteners, titanium aerospace structures, and other high-performance products. We are seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to support manufacturing operations at our Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM
As a Quality Inspection Technician, you will help ensure manufacturing processes remain within established quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Record critical in-process manufacturing parameters within the forge environment.
Take and document optical pyrometer readings for tooling and material temperatures, both on and off the die.
Record furnace soak times, forging times, and ramp-up times.
Extract rolling parameters and tonnage data from designated ring-roll mills and presses.
Identify and report in-process non-conformances to the Quality Department and appropriate personnel.
Interpret blueprints and accurately measure parts according to blueprint specifications.
Perform furnace pyrometry activities, including System Accuracy Tests (SATs) and furnace inspections.
Support calibration activities for furnaces, tools, and optical pyrometers.
Perform Quality Forge and Forge Furnace Audits.
Maintain and archive quality documentation according to company procedures.
Work closely with other departments to communicate quality information and support production requirements.
Follow company work instructions, safety requirements, quality procedures, and operating policies.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, aerospace, forging, machining, or a related industrial environment is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to accurately measure manufactured parts according to specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and company procedures.
Ability to work effectively with Quality, Production, and other departments.
Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Must have correctable vision sufficient to meet company work instructions and procedures.
Ability to follow strict safety and quality standards in an industrial environment.
Experience with forge or forge furnace operations.
Experience with furnace pyrometry or temperature measurement equipment.
Experience with optical pyrometers, furnace inspections, or calibration activities.
Experience performing quality audits or documenting non-conformances.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Aerospace manufacturing or metalworking experience.
Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and documentation.

For safety and compliance, employees must follow all facility dress and PPE requirements:
Steel-toe shoes or boots are required.
Clothing must be clean, appropriate, and free of rips, tears, or holes.

All company safety and quality procedures must be followed.
