About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play an important role in supporting the processing, handling, inspection, and movement of components that meet strict customer and production specifications. Your attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety and quality will help ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Location: Torrance, CA 90505
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Overtime: Saturday overtime opportunities available
Pay Rate: Up to $21.00 per hour

What You'll Do

In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will:

• Assist with inspecting components to ensure they meet customer and production specifications.

• Support production operators with processing activities, including component weight counting and parts movement.

• Train and work on part washing lines and blasting machines.

• Assist with changing tank solutions and other production-related processes.

• Sort components and complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Prepare daily production reports and required forms.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area through regular housekeeping.

• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and company policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks accurately.

• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and materials.

• Basic literacy skills, including the ability to understand work instructions, labels, and safety procedures.

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to work the 1st shift schedule and overtime when needed.

• Willingness to comply with required safety, quality, physical, and pre-employment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, inspection, or a light industrial environment.

• Experience operating or working around production equipment, washing lines, blasting machines, or similar machinery.

• High school diploma or GED.

• A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
