Methods Process Analyst
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aviation and aerospace industry to find an experienced Methods Process Analyst for a high-profile Executive Fleet program in San Antonio, TX.

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 6-Month Assignment
Schedule: 1st Shift | 4x10 Schedule (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)
Pay Rate: Starting at $55.27/hour
As a Methods Process Analyst, you'll serve as a key partner in analyzing and improving production operations while supporting strategic planning and execution initiatives across the Executive Fleet program.
Develop operating plans and recovery plans to support production objectives.
Create and maintain models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze operational data, trends, production impacts, and performance metrics.
Provide analytical insights and recommendations to management, leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and improve processes that enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve product quality using Lean and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
Define project objectives and manage scope, cost, risk, and schedule considerations.
Conduct risk assessments utilizing project management tools such as work breakdown structures, resource allocation models, and precedence networks.
Lead and support process improvement and operational excellence projects.
Apply engineering and statistical methods, simulations, and mathematical modeling to optimize facility, personnel, equipment, and material utilization.
Analyze and improve value streams, capacity planning, throughput, workflow efficiency, supplier performance, logistics, lead times, and critical path activities.
Gather production data through direct interaction with employees, shop floor observations, and aircraft production activities.
Conduct historical and trend analysis to support staffing, scheduling, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, planning, and leadership teams to drive operational success.
Bachelor's degree required.
6+ years of experience in:
Project Planning
Scheduling
Project Management
6+ years of experience working within a manufacturing or factory environment.
Strong knowledge of:
Manufacturing Operations
Manufacturing Planning
Engineering drawings and specifications
Lean manufacturing concepts
Experience with one or more of the following:
Python
SAS
VBA
SQL
Minitab
Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Aerospace or aircraft industry experience.
Experience using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as IVT.
Familiarity with scheduling tools
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
6+ years of experience conducting and leading time studies and presenting findings to leadership.
Cost Account Management experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to access aircraft using stairs or ladders.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Regular and predictable attendance required.
