Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Develops, maintains, and audits quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for machined parts.
Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
Partners with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Leads failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective preventive action (CAPA) implementation, guaranteeing reliability and regulatory compliance.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance and productivity.
Utilizes Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for inspection and quality verification.
Uses inspection gages and measuring equipment for quality assurance.
Develops First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and work instructions.
Analyzes product requirements and specifications for quality compliance.
Implements corrective actions to address nonconformances and improve process capability.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
At least 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience writing work instructions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
At least 3 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
At least 3 years of experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.
Experience performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and drawings.
Experience leading failure investigations and material review board (MRB) actions.
Experience implementing corrective preventive action (CAPA) for quality issues.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives for quality and productivity.
