Job Title: Methods Process Analyst

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (4-Month Assignment)

Location: Everett, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2nd Shift | 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Pay Rate: $34.34/hour

As a Methods Process Analyst, you'll serve as a key partner between Industrial Engineering and production operations, helping teams improve performance, optimize resources, and drive operational success. You'll work closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and program management teams to support production stability, implement lean initiatives, and deliver measurable business results.

What You'll Do



In this dynamic role, you'll support both daily operations and long-term production objectives through activities such as:



Production Planning & Performance Analysis




  • Analyze production schedules, performance metrics, and work orders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing planning data and factory definitions within business systems.
  • Assist in labor hour estimating, schedule development, and resource utilization planning.
  • Monitor performance against established labor standards and production objectives.


Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing




  • Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Analyze current workflows and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and reduce non-value-added work.
  • Support production stabilization initiatives and future production rate readiness efforts.
  • Reduce safety and ergonomic concerns through process evaluation and improvement.


Quality & Problem Solving




  • Investigate quality trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop recommendations to reduce defects and improve product quality.
  • Support disruption recovery planning through capacity and constraint analysis.


Cross-Functional Collaboration




  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supplier management, materials management, quality, and program management teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between 1st and 2nd shift operations teams to coordinate Industrial Engineering actions and requests.
  • Communicate schedule impacts, production risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.


Strategic Planning Support




  • Assist in developing integrated production and tooling schedules.
  • Analyze impacts of unexpected production changes and recommend schedule adjustments.
  • Gather and analyze shop performance data to support management decision-making.




Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in:

    • Business Administration
    • Business Management
    • Operations Management
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Economics
    • Or a related business discipline


  • 1+ years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.




Preferred Qualifications




  • 1+ years of experience working in a team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience interacting with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience analyzing data and developing performance metrics.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong structured problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience with:

    • Capacity planning
    • Resource utilization analysis
    • Supply chain planning and logistics
    • Process improvement initiatives
    • Visual management and performance tracking tools

Pay Details: $34.34 per hour
