Qualifying Questions:

    Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

Summary:

    Authors non destructive test (NDT) procedures for commercial and defense aircraft.

    Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.

    Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standards.

    Performs setup for non destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.

    Composes procedure figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.

    Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

    Supports commercial and defense aircraft including 737, 747, 767, 777, 787, KC 46, and B 1B.

    Works with ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET), and radiographic testing (RT) methods.

    Supports advanced NDT methods including Phased Array UT, Shear wave UT, and Eddy Current Array.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    3+ years of education and work experience in NDI or NDT.

    Current or previous work experience performing at a Level II NDT technician capacity in ET, UT, or RT methods.

    Can provide documentation of certified NDT hours.

    Proficient in MS Office Suite.

    Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as necessary.

    Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

    Ability to work in confined spaces.

    Preferred: NAS 410 or equivalent Level II certification in ET and UT or RT.

    Preferred: 1200 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with 400+ hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing, 1200 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET) with 400+ hours of LFEC, and 1200 hours of Radiographic Testing (RT).
