Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Hybrid schedule with > 2 days on-site per week in El Segundo, CA. Start time ~7 AM to 9 AM Pacific, end time ~4 PM to 6 PM Pacific, following a 9x80 work schedule.

Summary:

Designs and develops state-of-the-art digital circuit and unit hardware or digital electronics for aerospace applications.

Leads analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

Leads development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.

Leads reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements.

Identifies, tracks, and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.

Leads activities in support of Supplier Management with make or buy recommendations and other technical services.

Coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Plans research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Applies expertise in circuit design and analysis for digital, analog, and power electronics.

Works with firmware, microprocessor, or other hardware for digital electronics systems.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

5+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware.

Experience with circuit design and analysis for electronics hardware.

Experience with requirements definition, interface definition, modeling, analysis, and design verification for digital electronics.

Experience with testing and performance verification of electronic products.

Experience with technical support for production and test of electronic products.

Experience coordinating engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

Preferred: 10+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware.

Preferred: Experience with Digital, Analog, and Power Electronics, firmware, microprocessor hardware, and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.
