JOB TITLE: Military Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Summary:

Maintains and troubleshoots wheeled and tracked military vehicles including M270, M270A1, HIMARS, MLRS, Bradley, M1A1, HUMVEE, and HEMITT.

Performs installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and modification of equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems.

Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions on gasoline and diesel engines to eliminate problems in minimum time.

Installs, upgrades, and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.

Provides technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems.

Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance at customer and field locations.

Performs maintenance on heavy equipment including bulldozers and front end loaders.

Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

Provides on-site training of customer support personnel.

Applies knowledge of military vehicle systems for troubleshooting and repair.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines.

Troubleshooting skills on military or heavy vehicles.

Experience maintaining and repairing wheeled and tracked military vehicles.

Experience with MLRS, Bradley, M1A1, HUMVEE, or HEMITT preferred.

Familiarity with Redstone Arsenal operations preferred.

Experience installing, upgrading, and removing equipment and systems.

Ability to provide technical guidance and training to customer support personnel.

Experience with bulldozers and front end loaders.

Ability to maintain effective customer communications and relations.
