Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Applies wood finishes including stains, sealers, and topcoats to aircraft interior components and cabinetry.

    Prepares surfaces for finishing through sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion.

    Matches finishes to customer-approved color samples and specifications.

    Uses spray equipment, brushes, and rollers for finish application.

    Operates spray booths and finishing equipment for consistent coating application.

    Interprets engineering drawings and finish specifications for aircraft interiors.

    Performs touch-ups and rework to correct finish defects.

    Applies chemical strippers and solvents to remove existing finishes during rework.

    Inspects finished surfaces for quality, color consistency, and defects.

    Maintains finishing equipment including spray guns, booths, and mixing equipment.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    High School Diploma or GED.

    Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

    2 years of experience in wood finishing.

    Ability to apply wood finishes including stains, sealers, and topcoats.

    Ability to prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, and cleaning.

    Ability to match finishes to customer-approved color samples and specifications.

    Experience using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers for finish application.

    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and finish specifications.

    Preferred: Experience in aerospace industry.
