Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Performs structural analysis of aircraft structures specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, and Windows (Flight Deck and Passenger).

    Uses finite element models and simulations with NASTRAN, PATRAN, ABAQUS, and Hypermesh.

    Uses 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.

    Performs static and fatigue analysis for aircraft structural components.

    Coordinates with design engineering teams for structural integrity and compliance.

    Provides technical solutions to a wide range of structural analysis problems.

    Develops test plans and supports structural testing for validation.

    Applies Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to structural analysis.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences from an ABET Accredited University.

    8+ years of related work experience in structures analysis.

    Experience working with finite element models and simulations using NASTRAN, PATRAN, ABAQUS, and Hypermesh.

    Experience with 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.

    Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of structural problems.

    Experience in static and fatigue analysis for aircraft components.

    Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
