Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:

Designs next generation RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems.

Develops and verifies multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing architectures.

Allocates, defines, and verifies requirements and interfaces for communication digital payloads.

Develops performance and link budgets for satellite communication systems.

Conducts performance analysis of signal processing models.

Assists with conducting trade studies for system design and performance optimization.

Develops prototype demonstrations on flight-like communication subsystem testbeds.

Supports unit-level integration and performance simulations.

Supports ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification.

Supports hardware procurement, design reviews, and unit sell-offs.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

1+ years of experience with signal processing or image processing.

5+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering.

Preferred: Master's degree in signal processing or algorithm development focus.

Preferred: Development of algorithms for hardware implementation on ASICs or FPGAs.

Preferred: Digital Signal Processing based classes, projects, or work experience.

Preferred: Simulink experience in work or school, and experience with Python, C++, or other languages.

Preferred: Verification planning and principles with application of theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.
