Job Title: Structural Analysis Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 3-Month Contract
Location: Onsite in Everett or Renton, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Starting Pay Rate: $88.56/hour
Work Environment: Non-managerial, non-leadership role
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance required
As a Structural Analysis Engineer supporting the BCA Structures organization, you’ll use your engineering expertise to analyze and solve complex aircraft structural challenges.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Perform structural analysis for aircraft structures, with a focus on Landing Gear, Doors, and/or Windows.
Develop technical solutions to a broad range of structural engineering problems.
Analyze finite element models and simulations to evaluate structural performance and integrity.
Interrogate and verify 3D models using tools such as CATIA/ENOVIA.
Communicate complex and nuanced technical results clearly and concisely to engineers, stakeholders, and other audiences.
Identify technical needs and scope of work proactively, often with limited direction.
Work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented engineering environment.
Apply sound engineering judgment to develop practical, technically defensible solutions.
Support structural analysis activities while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university, with a focus in:
Mechanical Engineering
Civil/Structural Engineering
Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
Materials Science
ABET-accredited university required.
16+ years of related experience in structural analysis.
Professional experience performing analysis on aircraft structures.
Ability to work onsite in Everett or Renton, Washington.
Previous experience working with Structures commodities.
Experience with finite element analysis/modeling tools such as:
NASTRAN/PATRAN
ABAQUS
HyperMesh
Experience with CATIA/ENOVIA for 3D model interrogation and verification.
Familiarity with specific applications such as IAS, CSW, SA, and related tools.
Experience analyzing Landing Gear, Doors, Flight Deck Windows, and/or Passenger Windows.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated engineering results to a wide audience.
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to recognize engineering needs and scope of work without explicit direction.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop technical solutions across a wide range of engineering challenges.
