Shift: 1st shift, start time 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (flexible, full 8-hour days). Hybrid (onsite as needed).

Summary:

Designs, develops, and tests software components and functions for B-52 Heavy Bomber systems.

Supports development of software functional requirements for embedded real-time systems.

Supports software architecture trades and revises existing architecture to meet new functions.

Specifies internal and external software interfaces for system integration.

Conducts software test-driven development for embedded systems.

Conducts and supports peer reviews on all software lifecycle data.

Contributes to Agile development team success and sprint commitments.

Develops and integrates software including radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and digital communication infrastructure.

Troubleshoots in high fidelity lab environment with aircraft hardware.

Implements multi-threaded real-time applications using Ada programming language.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

5+ years of experience with embedded (real-time) software development.

Proficient in Ada programming language.

Experience with Agile development practices.

Preferred: Previous technical experience in an aerospace environment.

Preferred: Proficiency in design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications.

Preferred: Ability to problem solve in a clear and concise manner.
