Summary:

Develops and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.

Develops software for avionics and real-time embedded systems using C, C++, Ada, and Java.

Develops hardware and software-based product security solutions for protection of critical military information and technology.

Implements code for usability, readability, and maintainability in safety-critical systems.

Performs Ada coding for safety-critical systems and embedded software in C and C++.

Uses lifecycle configuration management tools including GitLab and Agile tools including Jira.

Applies cryptography and other security protocols for product security solutions.

Works in DevSecOps environment for software development and integration.

Uses Python for automation and performs unit testing for software verification.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

2+ years of experience in software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems or firmware design using C, C++, Ada, or Java.

Experience in Ada coding for safety-critical systems.

Experience with embedded software in C and C++.

Preferred: 9+ years of experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience in software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems using C, C++, Ada, or Java.

Preferred: 1+ years of experience with lifecycle configuration management tools including GitLab and Agile tools including Jira.

Preferred: Experience working in a DevSecOps environment, with cryptography and security protocols, and working knowledge in cyber security, secure computing, or anti-tamper.
