PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find an experienced Customer Service Representative who thrives on solving complex challenges, building customer relationships, and keeping critical aviation orders moving.

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll serve as a front-line partner to aerospace customers, taking ownership of complex orders from initial entry through fulfillment. You’ll coordinate across customer service, logistics, procurement, technical support, warehousing, and other teams to resolve issues, meet delivery commitments, and support the demanding needs of aviation operators.
This is more than traditional customer service—you’ll be making daily decisions that directly impact customer satisfaction, operational continuity, and the ability to get aircraft back in service.
What You’ll Do
Customer Support & Order Management — 45%
Interpret customer order and delivery requirements and accurately enter and manage orders.
Take end-to-end ownership of complex orders and customer concerns through resolution.
Manage complex orders involving tool rentals, exchange orders, component rentals, and PBH orders.
Initiate Global Supply Chain (GSC) orders supporting return-to-service initiatives.
Coordinate with Procurement to expedite orders and identify sourcing alternatives.
Prepare accurate customer quotations and recommend priority and freight options to meet delivery requirements.
Track logistics details and communicate timely order and delivery updates to customers.
Create and manage Salesforce cases for expedited logistics and customer communications.
Identify sales opportunities, promote applicable programs, and build strong, lasting customer relationships.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve customer support and increase customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration — 45%
Partner with Technical Support to resolve customer issues and order challenges.
Initiate problem-resolution discussions with on-site and regional Technical Representatives.
Coordinate escalations with Customer Logistics Managers and Customer Support Managers.
Collaborate regularly with AOG teams, logistics hubs, warehouses, shipping teams, and other internal partners.
Coordinate order mitigation strategies and communicate accurate delivery expectations.
Provide customers with order status updates and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
Drive end-to-end resolution of complex concerns spanning areas such as Spares, Blade Repair, Dynamic Component Repair, Logistics, Training, and FAA Repair Station support.
Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring — 10%
Research source documentation within the Quality System to support quality issue resolution.
Initiate Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for customer complaint management and resolution.
Analyze customer sales activity and identify trends for management review.
Manage the daily ZSDTRP report.
Prepare and distribute customer activity and performance reports.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in logistics, technical support, customer support, or a related field; or
1+ year of experience at in a position working with aviation parts.
Strong Microsoft Office/Excel or Google Workspace skills.
Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers and communicate order pricing, delivery dates, and resolution plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of SAP experience, preferably in Sales & Distribution (SD), Customer Service (CS), or Procurement.
Experience with Client SAP and Salesforce systems.
Familiarity with Client software solutions such as Hyperion, WebTEK.
Six Sigma experience or training.
A&P License, which may substitute for two years of experience.
Basic French or German language skills.
Experience working with aviation parts, helicopter operators, or aerospace logistics.
Understanding of aviation operations and return-to-service requirements.
