Pay Rate: $35.00- $45/hour

Schedule: Full-Time

As a Ground Test Inspector, you'll serve as a critical member of the Final Assembly Line team, ensuring that aircraft systems perform exactly as designed before delivery. From avionics and flight controls to navigation and cabin systems, you'll execute and validate complex testing procedures, identify and resolve issues, and help maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.



Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful production of some of the world's most advanced commercial aircraft.



What You'll Do



Execute Aircraft Systems & Avionics Testing (80%)




  • Prepare aircraft and work environments for safe and efficient testing activities.
  • Perform functional testing of aircraft systems, including:

    • Flight controls
    • Navigation systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Cabin and passenger entertainment systems
    • Other critical aircraft systems


  • Utilize Test Systems to verify conformity with engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot system discrepancies in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
  • Document non-conformities within the SAP NC system.
  • Initiate and coordinate retesting following corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by helping refine testing procedures and systems.
  • Share knowledge and provide training on aircraft systems, operational processes, and safety best practices.


Champion Safety and Compliance (10%)




  • Ensure the safety of personnel, aircraft, and equipment throughout production activities.
  • Conduct Safety Risk Analyses before testing activities.
  • Verify aircraft configurations support safe testing operations.
  • Monitor and document aircraft testing status and configuration changes.
  • Participate in investigations and corrective actions related to safety concerns.
  • Maintain the highest levels of regulatory, quality, and compliance standards.


Drive Planning & Operational Excellence (10%)




  • Coordinate testing schedules with Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Aircraft Management teams.
  • Monitor non-conformities that may impact testing schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and operational success.


Required Qualifications



Education




  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to successfully complete company-provided training programs, including:

    • Health & Safety
    • General Aircraft Familiarization
    • Quality Training




Experience




  • Minimum 5 years of aviation experience in avionics, aircraft systems, or cabin systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician with emphasis on aircraft systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of aircraft systems troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow detailed testing procedures.


Preferred Qualifications




  • Vocational or technical training in avionics, electrical systems, or aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience supporting aircraft final assembly operations.
  • Advanced troubleshooting expertise within complex aircraft systems.
  • Experience working in commercial aerospace manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and training capabilities.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
