We're seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join a high-performing team developing advanced precision mechanisms and electro-mechanical systems supporting mission-critical national security programs. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex hardware from concept through testing while working alongside multidisciplinary experts on technology that operates in challenging real-world environments.

What You'll Do
• Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Own critical subsystems and drive them from requirements definition through final qualification.
• Perform trade studies, design optimization, material selection, and engineering analysis.
• Create and release technical data packages, drawings, and design documentation.
• Prototype, assemble, integrate, and test hardware in a laboratory environment.
• Develop test plans, execute verification activities, and evaluate performance results.
• Present technical solutions to engineering leadership, program teams, and customers.
• Participate in design reviews, product change boards, and cross-functional engineering efforts.
• Support field testing and demonstrations as a Mechanical Engineering representative.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with an advanced degree)
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required (active within the last two years may be considered)
• Favorable polygraph
• Strong mechanical design, development, and hardware testing experience
• Advanced 3D CAD modeling experience
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
Preferred Experience
• Precision mechanisms and motion control systems
• Mechatronic systems and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Electronic packaging with thermal and structural design considerations
• Creo CAD and ASME Y14.5 GD&T
• Additive manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA)
• Actuators, gear trains, electro-optical systems, materials testing, or advanced manufacturing processes
