Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Plans, designs, develops, and verifies complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions using an interdisciplinary collaborative approach.

Defines and coordinates system performance requirements based on customer and operational needs.

Integrates technical parameters and assures compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and system architecture.

Performs affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance analyses.

Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes and tools.

Manages risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

Resolves cross-functional technical issues across system development.

Applies systems engineering processes and methodologies to system design and integration.

Evaluates customer requirements and translates them into system performance specifications.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.Experience in systems engineering processes and methodologies.

Experience with requirements management and traceability.

Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management processes.

Experience with system architecture development and trade studies.

Experience with system integration and verification activities.

Knowledge of specialty engineering disciplines including safety, reliability, and maintainability.

Experience with technology readiness assessment processes.

Ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
