Make an Impact
As a Systems Engineer, you'll support the development of advanced RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security applications. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists, customers, and program teams, you'll contribute throughout the system lifecycle, from concept development and trade studies to integration, testing, and deployment.

What You'll Do
Design & Development
Design and develop next-generation RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems.
Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing (DSP) architectures.
Define, allocate, and verify requirements and interfaces for communication payload systems.
Support the development and implementation of advanced communication technologies.
Analysis & Performance Engineering
Develop communication system performance and link budgets.
Perform signal processing analysis and modeling to evaluate system capabilities.
Conduct performance assessments and contribute to engineering trade studies.
Help optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Integration & Verification
Develop prototype demonstrations using flight-like communication subsystem testbeds.
Support unit-level integration activities and performance simulations.
Assist with ASIC and FPGA system design and verification efforts.
Participate in design reviews, testing activities, and technical evaluations.
Program Collaboration
Work closely with customers, suppliers, program management, integration teams, and senior engineering professionals.
Support hardware procurement activities and subsystem validation efforts.
Contribute to successful program execution from concept through final unit sell-off.
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Bachelor's degree in:
Engineering
Engineering Technology
Computer Science
Data Science
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Or a related technical field
1+ years of experience in signal processing or image processing.
5+ years of experience in electronic systems engineering.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree with a focus on Signal Processing, Algorithm Development, or a related discipline.
Experience developing algorithms for implementation on ASICs and FPGAs.
Academic or professional experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Experience with:
Simulink
Python
C++
Related modeling and simulation tools
Knowledge of verification planning and validation processes.
Experience contributing to large-scale engineering projects.
Aerospace, satellite, or communications systems experience.
9+ years of related industry experience.
