Summary:
Participates as a key member in the Material Review Board (MRB) process for reviewing non-conforming hardware.
Reviews non-conforming hardware for performance impacts and identifies appropriate root cause.
Ensures corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
Coordinates efforts within Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
Applies Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 for design analysis.
Performs tolerance analysis to evaluate design and manufacturing feasibility.
Uses Creo design software for modeling and design activities.
Reads and interprets engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
Leads investigative efforts to identify and resolve production issues, defects, and failures.
Reports status to interdisciplinary teams and supports weekly meetings with leadership.
Requirements:
Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering related field.
At least 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
At least 2 years of experience performing tolerance analysis.
At least 2 years of experience with Creo design software.
At least 2 years of experience with root cause and corrective action processes.
At least 2 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
Ability to lead investigative efforts and report status to interdisciplinary teams.
Experience supporting Material Review Board (MRB) processes for non-conforming hardware.
Experience coordinating across Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams for issue resolution.
