Pay Rate: $88.62 per hour

About the Role

As a Configuration Analyst , you'll be a key member of the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) team supporting advanced aerospace programs. In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy, traceability, and integrity of engineering and product data throughout the product lifecycle. Your work will directly support successful program execution, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality aerospace solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Configuration Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and coordinating the preparation of project documentation, including engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications

  • Reviewing customer contracts to determine documentation requirements throughout each phase of a project

  • Supporting configuration management activities to ensure compliance with customer and organizational requirements

  • Analyzing proposed product design changes and evaluating their impact on systems, products, and documentation

  • Establishing and processing engineering change orders and change authorization packages

  • Maintaining modification records and configuration status data for management control

  • Reviewing released engineering change data and coordinating implementation activities across multiple functions

  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, support teams, and data control organizations

  • Managing product baselines, configuration identification, change control, and status accounting activities

  • Supporting document control and product lifecycle management processes

  • Ensuring engineering and product data remains accurate, controlled, and traceable throughout the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field

  • OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in:

    • Configuration Management

    • Document Control

    • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

    • Or a related field

Configuration Management Knowledge

  • Understanding of Configuration Management principles and practices, including:

    • Baselines

    • Change control

    • Configuration identification

    • Status accounting

    • Audits

  • Experience supporting or administering change management processes such as ECRs, ECOs, CRs, or CIs

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical specifications

Technical Skills

  • Experience using at least one PLM or Configuration Management system, such as:

    • Teamcenter

    • Windchill

    • PTC

    • ENOVIA

    • Agile PLM

    • Similar enterprise platforms

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or comparable tools

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Professional Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills

  • Ability to manage multiple change packages and competing priorities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

We're especially interested in candidates who bring:

  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter

  • Experience working with ENOVIA

  • Knowledge of Costpoint

  • Prior experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries

  • Advanced understanding of configuration and data management best practices

Pay Details: $88.62 per hour
