Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst 1 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • High school diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong Microsoft Excel skill (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, vlookups, basic formulas) • Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, • Basic data analysis and reporting experience, problem solving skills • Relevant administrative/scheduling experience, • Experience in a team environment providing support to a diverse customer base with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service • Experience managing competing demands while still meeting critical deadlines • Experience using Microsoft Outlook with calendar functionality • Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and step forward for projects • Skilled with high attention to detail. • Managing and scheduling meetings will be critical as well as organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership consumption.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. • Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. • The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. • Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Associate or Bachelors degree in business, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing or related field • Experience supporting manufacturing in an aerospace or industrial field • Experience with ERP/MRO systems such as SAP or MES, Power BI or Tableau dashboards and reporting.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS: 9/80 work week.
