Position: Product Acceptance Specialist
Location: Chandler, AZ
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant
Pay Rate Starting at : $20.59 per hour
As a Product Acceptance Specialist, you'll be responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting product quality throughout the manufacturing and supply chain process.
Verify product conformance to engineering and design requirements.
Provide objective evidence and documentation of inspection results.
Conduct dimensional inspections according to design records and documented AQL requirements.
Perform visual inspections to identify defects and non-conformances.
Inspect incoming materials and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with specifications.
Review certifications and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and traceability requirements.
Segregate, document, and control non-conforming products and materials.
Perform preliminary reviews and assist with the disposition of non-conforming items.
Utilize precision measurement tools, including:
Calipers
Micrometers
Ring and pin gages
Comparators
Indicators
Verify special orders and processing requirements.
Communicate with vendors regarding certification and quality documentation as needed.
Support compliance with AS9100 and company quality standards.
Provide mentorship and guidance to members of the inspection team.
Minimum of 2 years of related inspection or quality assurance experience.
Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, ring/pin gages, and comparators.
At least 2 years of experience with QA inspection methods and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to pass a documented color vision and near vision examination.
Previous aerospace inspection experience.
Working knowledge of AS9100 quality requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within highly regulated manufacturing environments.
