Job Summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a dependable Air Set Molder to support foundry and molding operations. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will produce sand molds using semi-automated machinery, maintain molding equipment, and learn the technical and chemical processes behind Air-Set molding lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Mold Production: Produce sand molds according to job specifications using semi-automated machinery and tooling provided.

• Equipment & Tool Maintenance: Maintain patterns, hand/power tools, machinery, and equipment in clean, optimal working condition.

• Line Upkeep: Maintain the Air-Set mold line and surrounding work areas in a clean, hazard-free state.

• Process Learning: Learn and apply the technical and chemical principles governing the Air-Set molding line.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand/power tools, semi-automated material handling equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

• Safety & Training: Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adhere to safety policies, and actively participate in training and continuous education.

• Flexibility: Work overtime and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED, OR relevant work experience.

• Physical Requirements: Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 lbs (with assistance when needed) and work in standing, bending, or squatting positions for extended periods (over 1 hour).

• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written English communication skills; ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to pass forklift operator certifications and safely operate material handling equipment.
