Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:

Uses CREO to develop plans, drawings, models, and revise or initiate formats for parts, assemblies, and installation engineering.

Creates new parts, drawings, BOMs, assemblies, simplified reps, and shrinkwraps.

Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices (ASME Y14.5).

Prepares complete production detail drawings.

Completes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Provides component or portions of system designs for handling, lifting, test, assembly, and transportation of mechanical and electrical components.

Supports cross-discipline product development with design knowledge.

Applies professional experience using a 3D CAD system (CREO, NX, SolidWorks, etc.).

Applies knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Supports team members with engineering documentation, drawing and CAD maintenance, and verification.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

U.S. Citizenship required.

Professional experience using a 3D CAD system (CREO, NX, SolidWorks, etc.).

Experience with machine tool design or tool modification.

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Experience creating new parts, drawings, BOMs, and assemblies in CAD.

Experience completing layout drawings per ASME Y14.5 standard.

Experience preparing complete production detail drawings.

Experience making design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing.

Experience supporting cross-discipline product development with design knowledge.
