PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Chemical and Ingredients Distribution company to find a safety-focused, detail-oriented Forklift Operator who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you're experienced in material handling, forklift operations, and warehouse activities, this is your opportunity to play a critical role in keeping products moving safely and efficiently throughout the supply chain.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you'll support daily warehouse and distribution operations by safely handling, packaging, storing, loading, and unloading chemical products and ingredients. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow established procedures will directly contribute to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Location: North Liberty, IA | Pay Rate: $19.50/hr | Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am to 5:30pm (Hours could increase/decrease based on need)

What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

• Load and unload trucks.

• Package, label, store, and move chemical products and materials.

• Handle drums, bags, pails, and super sacks.

• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.

• Attend required safety and compliance training.

• Properly use PPE and warehouse equipment.

• Complete other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.

• Forklift experience.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and around chemicals.

• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

• Inventory or cycle count experience.

• Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience.
