Keep Operations Moving and Lead by Example as a Warehouse Associate with PDS Tech!

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

1st Shift - 8:30am-5pm

 

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations while helping drive safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This role combines hands-on material handling with opportunities to mentor team members, support process improvements, and assist warehouse leadership.

Key Responsibilities

 Warehouse Operations

• Perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities
  
• Verify product accuracy using part numbers, labels, and inventory records
  
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete required documentation
  
• Generate reports and assist with warehouse recordkeeping
  

 Equipment Operation

• Safely operate powered warehouse equipment, including:
  
  
  
  • Reach Trucks
    
  • Dock Stockers
    
  • Cherry Pickers
    
  
  
  
• Complete daily equipment inspections
  
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly
  

 Team Support & Leadership

• Train and mentor new or less experienced associates
  
• Provide backup support to Team Leads when needed
  
• Assist with cross-functional warehouse activities
  
• Promote workflow continuity across departments
  

 Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
  
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment
  
• Identify damaged or incorrect product and help resolve issues
  
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  

Qualifications

• Experience operating powered warehouse equipment
  
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes
  
• Experience using warehouse systems and handheld scanning technology
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• Detail-oriented with strong inventory accuracy skills
  
• Comfortable training and mentoring coworkers
