PAY RATE: $34.00-38.00/hour

Summary:

    Interprets blueprints for aircraft structural assemblies and sub-assemblies.

    Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and structural assemblies for F-16 aircraft.

    Uses precision measuring equipment for structural assembly and verification.

    Performs production build and repair of F-16 aircraft structures.

    Comprehends safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Uses hands to grasp, handle, feel, reach, and perform repetitive movements.

    Frequently stands, walks, stoops, kneels, squats, crawls, twists, and works on or in the aircraft.

    Performs work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

    Properly uses, handles, and disposes of hazardous materials and chemicals per regulations.

    Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed and works in environments with regular exposure to vibration.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    Ability to interpret blueprints for aircraft structural assemblies.

    Ability to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies.

    Ability to use precision measuring equipment for structural assembly.

    Ability to comprehend safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

    Ability to perform repetitive movements and work overhead.

    Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

    Ability to properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals per regulations.
