As an Experimental N/C Programmer, you will play a vital role in transforming engineering designs into precision-machined aerospace components. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling selection, and machining strategy will directly support the production of high-quality aircraft parts and help drive manufacturing excellence.

What You'll Do
CNC Programming & Process Development
Create and optimize N/C programs for the fabrication of precision machined parts.
Utilize CATIA V5 to develop programming solutions for 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers.
Analyze engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to ensure programming accuracy.
Verify programming results against original engineering specifications and design intent.
Test, revise, and refine machine programs to maximize efficiency and quality.
Manufacturing Support
Select appropriate machine types based on project requirements and part complexity.
Determine tooling requirements, including:
Work-holding solutions
Part orientation strategies
Cutting tool selection
Provide hands-on machine support during program development and implementation.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to ensure smooth production operations.
Collaboration & Project Execution
Work closely with manufacturing teams to meet project milestones and production deadlines.
Communicate technical requirements and programming solutions effectively with cross-functional teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and machining performance.
Perform additional related duties as needed to support manufacturing objectives.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
3-5 years of experience with:
CATIA V5
3-axis CNC programming
5-axis CNC programming
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications
Experience creating, testing, and revising CNC machine programs
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of CATIA V5 programming experience
Advanced experience with:
3-axis machining
5-axis machining
Mill-turn programming
Aerospace manufacturing experience
Knowledge of machining processes, tooling strategies, and advanced CNC operations
Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
