Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Technicians for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of duties in composite development and experimental prototype fabrication and assembly. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains composite-related equipment, tooling, and prototype components. Works from composite lay-up schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates specialized fabrication equipment, conducts experimental builds, tests, and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares custom resin systems, hardeners, and curing solutions. Excludes technicians working in production or quality-assurance environments.
